The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has transferred 753 housing units seized from former Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. This move, seen as a significant step in the federal government’s anti-corruption efforts, will allow the properties to be assessed and potentially sold to the public or used for official needs. The EFCC emphasized transparency in the process and vowed to monitor the use of the assets.
