President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially commissioned the Mabushi Bus Terminal in Abuja, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to enhancing public transportation across Nigeria. The terminal, designed to provide a modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly transport hub, is part of the broader initiative to upgrade infrastructure and reduce the challenges associated with urban commuting.
Speaking during the commissioning, President Tinubu emphasized that improving public transportation is vital to national development. He assured Nigerians that the Federal Government is determined to ensure safer, more accessible, and cleaner mobility options for all citizens. He commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for executing the project swiftly and with quality delivery.
The new terminal is equipped with modern amenities and is expected to reduce traffic congestion, promote organized commuting, and provide a more dignified experience for passengers. Tinubu noted that transportation plays a critical role in economic growth, job creation, and national unity, and stressed that projects like the Mabushi Bus Terminal represent the future of urban mobility in Nigeria.
