Opposition coalition dismissed as a media stuntAPC’s South‑East Vice Chairman, Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu, brushed aside efforts by opposition leaders like Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to form a “mega front.” He argued that such moves are “nothing but a media stunt,” and that Nigerians are gravitating toward the APC for its delivery-focused governance.
Anambra and Osun remain key battlegroundsIn Anambra, Arodiogbu downplayed any official alliance with Soludo, affirming that APC’s candidate, Nicholas Ukachukwu, has presidential backing and grassroots strength. He claimed Soludo has fallen out of favor with community and religious groups . Meanwhile in Osun, insiders say internal resistance from party figures like Minister Gboyega Oyetola and Secretary Ajibola Basiru could slow any potential defection by Governor Adeleke.
