Timi Frank Condemns Killing of Charlie Kirk, Extends Condolences to Trump and U.S.

Nigerian political activist, Timi Frank, has strongly condemned the killing of American conservative figure, Charlie Kirk, describing it as a grave tragedy and a blow to democracy.

In a statement from Abuja, Frank noted that despite his young age, Kirk had made a significant impact on political conversations in the United States and beyond. He emphasized that the assassination was not just an attack on an individual but also a threat to the ideals of free expression and democratic values.

Frank, who serves as the Ambassador for the United Liberation Movement for West Papua to East Africa and the Middle East, called on the U.S. Government and the Governor of Utah, Spencer Cox, to ensure a thorough investigation into the incident. He stressed that swift justice is necessary to reassure citizens that political violence has no place in a true democracy.

He extended heartfelt condolences to Kirk’s family, supporters, the U.S. government, and former President Donald Trump, describing the late activist as a role model for young people worldwide.

Frank further urged youths to draw inspiration from Kirk’s commitment to democracy and freedom of speech, while insisting that violence remains a cowardly tool that undermines peace and progress.
