Senator Ned Nwoko has broken his silence by publicly accusing his wife, actress Regina Daniels, of battling serious drug and alcohol abuse, which he says is the root of troubling behaviour within their marriage. In a lengthy Instagram post and accompanying video, the senator described a recent incident in which Regina allegedly went on a destructive rampage at their home while he was away.
He claims she assaulted three staff members, smashed vehicles and windows, and generally behaved without provocation. Nwoko said he fears for her safety and that of those around her, emphasising that her “current battle with drugs and alcohol” cannot be ignored. He offered her rehab options in either Asokoro or Jordan — locations where he believes she would have less access to substances.
He further claimed that the mayhem at their residence was heightened by the presence of her alleged suppliers. He named two individuals — “Sammy” and “Ann” — whom he alleges are involved in providing drugs to Regina. A video that sparked the uproar shows Regina visibly agitated, shouting, “In Ned Nwoko’s house I am nothing, but in my own house I am a Queen… Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.” Regina’s brother, Ojeogwu Samuel Danhillman (also known as “Sammy West”), took to Instagram to accuse Nwoko of assaulting his sister and pledged to defend her.
