Lagos Taskforce Tracks Down Over 270 Suspected Hoodlums In Citywide Sweep

In a decisive move to bolster public safety, the Lagos State Taskforce has arrested more than 270 individuals suspected of criminal activities across various parts of the city. The operations targeted areas notorious for illicit activities, including Oshodi, Bolade, Ketu-Alapere, and Obalende. Acting on numerous complaints from residents and commuters about rising incidents of harassment and attacks, the taskforce conducted raids that led to these significant arrests. Many of the apprehended individuals were found in possession of dangerous weapons and hard drugs. The Chairman of the Lagos State Taskforce, CSP Adetayo Akerele, emphasized the agency’s commitment to restoring law and order, assuring the public that such enforcement actions would continue to ensure the safety and security of all Lagosians.
