Prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Nigeria’s North-East region have officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for a second term in the 2027 general elections.
This declaration was made at a high-profile meeting in Bauchi State, chaired by Senator Abubakar Kyari, the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), and attended by governors, lawmakers, ministers, and other party leaders from the zone.
During the gathering, the leaders expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Tinubu-Shettima administration, particularly in the areas of economic reforms, infrastructure, and national security. They praised the duo’s leadership and reaffirmed their support to help the APC retain power in the next presidential election.
They also passed a vote of confidence in the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje, for steering the APC effectively, and urged all party members in the zone to remain united and committed.
