ENGR ALABI PLAYS HOST TO SPECIAL ASSISTANTS UNDER AKOKO SOUTH WEST CONSTITUENCY

The Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Engr. (Dr.) Johnson Alabi, has played host to a team of Special Assistants under Akoko South West.

Welcoming the team in his office, Engr. Alabi expressed his sincere appreciation and commended the team for their support at the grassroots.

He assured them of his unrelenting efforts towards programs that will enhance the overall well-being of the citizens while effectively fulfilling the mandate of the Governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

The Commissioner seized the opportunity to charge the Special Assistants to use their positions to work assiduously and showcase their leadership abilities for the development of the Constituency, saying that it could serve as a stepping stone for higher positions in the future.

Earlier in his remarks, the team lead, Hon. David Ajobiewe, thanked Engr. Alabi for the warm reception, saying that the meeting was aimed at formally congratulating him on his appointment as Commissioner and as well, serve as an avenue to reaffirm their commitment to closely collaborate with him in areas that would positively enhance his tenure under the Aiyedatiwa-led administration.

He commended the Commissioner for his remarkable achievements in the Power sector particularly, regarding the O’Datiwa Mass Metering programme, positing that his tenure would yield more successes for the good people of the State.

Other members in attendance were: Hon. Olugbenga Abire,Hon. Ayodele Adeyemi, Hon. Joshua Ogunleye,Hon. Olanike Adams,Hon. Chris Omolohun and Hon. Akeju Olayemi.

The meeting concluded with the presentation of a gift in recognition of his appointment and good works.
