BUA Boss Rabiu Dangles $500K, Goal Bonuses to Spur Super Eagles Into AFCON Final

The Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has unveiled a lucrative incentive package aimed at motivating Nigeria’s Super Eagles as they gear up for their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-final clash. Rabiu announced that the national team would receive $500,000 if they secure victory in the semi-final, with an additional $50,000 bonus for every goal scored in that match.

Rabiu, one of Nigeria’s wealthiest business leaders, shared the pledge on his official social media platforms shortly after the Super Eagles delivered a commanding 2-0 quarter-final win over Algeria, a result that booked their place in the last four. In his message, he commended the players for lifting the spirits of the nation with their convincing performance.

Beyond the semi-final, the incentive package gets even bigger. The BUA chairman pledged $1,000,000 should Nigeria go on to win the AFCON title, along with an extra $100,000 for each goal scored in the final match. These rewards aim to fuel the team’s drive for continental glory as they prepare to face hosts Morocco in the semi-final.

Rabiu concluded by urging the squad to continue making Nigerians proud, emphasizing the importance of resilience and determination as the Super Eagles chase Africa’s top football crown.
