CoA series of deadly explosions has shaken Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, leaving several people feared dead and many others injured in what appears to be a coordinated attack. The blasts, which occurred almost simultaneously, targeted busy locations across the city, throwing residents into panic and disrupting activities.According to reports, the explosions struck key areas including the popular Monday Market, the Post Office vicinity, and the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos as victims with severe injuries were rushed to nearby hospitals, while emergency responders battled to manage the growing number of casualties.
Authorities confirmed that the attacks claimed lives and left over a hundred people injured, although the exact casualty figure is still being verified. Preliminary findings suggest the explosions may have been carried out by suspected suicide bombers, though no group has officially claimed responsibility.
