The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared the closure of its national headquarters in Abuja, known as Buhari House, in light of the heartbreaking murder of its Director of Administration, AbdulRauf Adeniji.In a memo entitled ‘Closure of the Secretariat for Mourning the Director of Administration,’ issued on Thursday, the APC confirmed this decision following the tragic news of Adeniji’s passing, which occurred after he had been kidnapped several weeks prior.The secretariat's closure will commence on Monday, April 14, 2025.The ruling party has urged all employees to take this grieving period for reflection and prayers for Adeniji’s family and loved ones.Furthermore, the APC announced that a condolence register will be made available at the National Secretariat to pay tribute to the late director.The memo indicates: “The National Secretary has sanctioned the closure of the National Secretariat from all party functions with immediate effect until Monday, April 14, 2025.
