Saudi Arabia Approves Dantata’s Burial in Madina

Saudi Arabian authorities have granted approval for the burial of Nigerian billionaire and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, in the holy city of Madina. The burial is scheduled to take place on Monday, following the arrival of his remains from Abu Dhabi.

Dantata passed away in Abu Dhabi after a brief illness. His personal secretary, Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, confirmed that all necessary clearances have been received, allowing the body to be transported to Saudi Arabia for the final rites.

The burial process had faced slight delays due to administrative procedures and the Saudi weekend schedule. However, with the approval now secured, arrangements have been finalised for the funeral prayer and interment in Madina, in accordance with Dantata’s wish to be buried in the sacred city.

In his absence, a special funeral prayer was held in Kano over the weekend, where family members, friends, and dignitaries gathered to pay their respects. Dantata was widely respected for his contributions to business, philanthropy, and the development of northern Nigeria.
